How referrals work
Each account receives a referral link. When another user signs up through that link, the referring account receives additional monitor capacity after the referral is recorded. The goal is simple: teams that introduce StatusIntel to other legitimate users can monitor more endpoints.
Find your referral link
- Sign in to StatusIntel.
- Open Settings.
- Copy the referral link from the Referral Program section.
- Share it with colleagues, clients, or teams that need uptime monitoring.
What to monitor first with extra capacity
Do not spend new monitors on duplicate homepage checks unless you have a reason. Cover routes that prove different failure modes: login, checkout, API health, status page, documentation, SSL-sensitive domains, or a TCP service that supports recovery.
Abuse limits
Referral capacity is intended for real accounts and legitimate monitoring. It should not be used for account farming, unauthorized probing, or monitoring systems you do not own or have permission to monitor. The acceptable use policy applies to referral-created accounts as well.
